Hamilton Grange National Memorial

Hamilton Grange was the country home of Alexander Hamilton, the first Secretary of the Treasury. Hamilton constructed the home to mirror the ancestral Hamilton house in Scotland. Hamilton lived in the house for only two years before being fatally wounded in a duel with his political rival, Aaron Burr.
Harbor Defense Museum at Fort Hamilton

Fort Hamilton, the earliest granite fortification built in New York Harbor, is today the official United States Army Museum in the City of New York. Permanent displays tell the story of the generations of guns, mines, airplanes and missiles that have protected the harbor.
