Transport Group is a nonprofit Off-Broadway theater company that develops and produces work by American playwrights and composers with the aim of exploring the American consciousness in the 20th and 21st centuries. A typical season includes two mainstage productions.

Dance New Amsterdam, formerly Dance Space Center, serves a community of more than 9,000 dancers, choreographers, students and audience members with more than 130 classes weekly, an average of 12 visiting modern guest artists teaching monthly and more than 40 performances annually. Dance New Amsterdam has six dance studios, one of which converts into a fully equipped 100-seat black box theater.

The Daryl Roth Theatre, formerly the Union Square Savings Bank, is located at 20 Union Square East, and is the sister theatre of the DR2. Built in the 1840s, this Landmark building was revived as a theatre by producer Daryl Roth in 1996, and has served as home to the international Off-Broadway hits De La Guarda and Fuerzabruta. The Daryl Roth Theatre is known throughout the Theatre community as a versatile and non-traditional theatre space.
