Three weeks of free music and dance are held on the plazas of Lincoln Center from July 27 to August 14 in the 41st year of this summer festival. A subtheme of the programming is the 28th Annual Roots of American Music Festival.
The locations of Lincoln Center Out of Doors include Damrosch Park Bandshell, the central Josie Robertson Plaza (with fountain), the Paul Milstein Pool/Hearst Plaza in front of the New York Pubic Library for the Performing Arts, the David Rubenstein Atrium on Broadway, between 62nd and 63rd Streets, and Broadway Plaza, outside Alice Tully Hall on the corner of Broadway and 65th Street.
