The second annual fall festival explores the spiritual dimension of music as manifested in different cultural and musical traditions, from early Christian sacred music to a newly penned electronic score for the 1928 silent film The Passion of Joan of Arc to east-west Arabic and jazz arrangements of Bach’s Passions

Along with ticketed performances, a variety of free events are held, including discussions with the participating artists and in-depth explorations of festival themes. Informal post-performance parties known as "White Light Lounges" take place after many performances.
