Enjoy longstanding favorites and discover something new when Out of Doors brings three jam-packed weeks (July 24 through August 11) of world-class music, dance, and spoken word to the plazas of Lincoln Center. And it’s absolutely free!

The 2013 festival kicks off with KRONOS at 40, a five-day “festival within a festival” curated in collaboration with Kronos Quartet to mark its 40th anniversary. Twenty-eight concerts and events, 12 premieres and five Lincoln Center commissions and co-commissions will take place July 24–28 with daily appearances by Kronos, on its own and with special guests (including Mariana Sadovska, Magda Giannikou, Dan Deacon and Jherek Bischoff); plus performances by Red Hot + FELA LIVE! with Tony Allen and Superhuman Happiness heading an all-star line-up; Mark Dendy Dance & Theater Projects, My Brightest Diamond, Emily Wells, Found Sound Nation, The Gloaming, Elena Moon Park, Dan Zanes, OzoKidz/Ozomatli, Jacob Garchik’s The Heavens, Asphalt Orchestra, and more.
