NYC Arts: The Complete Guide to Art and Culture

Martin Luther King, Jr. Concert Series

The series presents free musical concerts that reflect the African-American contribution to the American music scene. Seven concerts are staged (weather permitting) at Brooklyn’s Wingate Field on Monday nights in July and August. The public is encouraged to bring chairs because seating is limited.
