Experience the joy and magic of a traditional Viennese-style New Year.  This elegant celebration is patterned after Vienna’s world famous Neujahrskonzert.  In its 13th season at Avery Fisher Hall, this festive waltz into the New Year is always a sold-out event. 

The cast of over 75 musicians, stellar European singers and Vienna Imperial Ballet dancers in beautiful costumes perform Strauss waltzes, polkas and famous operetta pieces. The Strauss Symphony of America is joined by conductor Alexander Steinitz, soprano Rebecca Nelsen, and tenor Thomas Sigwald—all from Vienna.
