Grand Central Holiday Train Show
EXPIRED

Free admission (all visitors, all hours)
Grand Central Terminal turns 100 in 2013 and the Transit Museum is starting the party early with its 11th annual Holiday Train Show. In a brand new layout built by Lionel, model Metro-North and New York Central trains depart from a miniature Grand Central on their way North on a 34-foot long, two-level “O” gauge layout while R-16 and R-30 subway trains wind their way through a miniature Manhattan. Vintage model trains on wall displays will focus on New York Central and other trains which ran through GCT. The exhibition will also feature New York Central posters from the 1920s-1940s. Salute the centennial with your very own Lionel Grand Central Express Passenger Set, unveiled and on sale at the museum store.
