The Mertz Library, a repository of botanical and horticultural literature, houses a treasury of published and archival documents that trace the development of botany and horticulture from the 12th century to the present day. Drawing from this collection, the exhibition highlights some rarely seen items, 80 percent of which have never before been exhibited.
