On the first Friday of every month, the museum offers free admission to a night of film, art, performance, music and other special programming. Previous First Fridays have featured local artists performing spoken word and hip-hop music, and dancing for all.
About this Organization
Bronx Museum of the ArtsWorks by 20th-century artists from Africa, Asia and Latin America, as well as American descendants from those regions, form the basis of the collection. Exhibitions and programs offer Bronx residents the opportunity to learn about themselves and their heritage, history and culture while gaining insight into other cultural groups.
