AMNH has special exhibits but many people come over and over again just to work their way through the permanent ones. Dinosaurs, meteorites and gems, mammals preserved in realistic dioramas, ocean life and exhibition halls that explore the world’s  traditional cultures are just some of the scores of subjects on view 363 days a year. The Rose Center for Earth And Space has its own halls, an IMAX theater and a planetarium.
