In its 178-seat auditorium in the basement of St. Peter's Church in Midtown Manhattan, this musical theater company presents more than 200 performances each year. The York Theatre Company presents full-scale productions as well as "mufti" plainclothes staged readings of new musicals in an effort to revitalize this changing American art form.

Seniors (60 and older) can purchase $20 "rush" tickets to Mainstage shows. Arrive one hour before the performance. Discount based on availability.

- On-Site Food: The York offers a wide range of food and beverage products as well as gifts at its concessions and gift shop display during all performances.
- On-Site Parking: Discounted parking is available at the Icon Parking Garage on the south side of 51st Street between Lexington and Third Avenues. Parking is $15 Mon-Sat and $8 on Sun for up to five hours. Have your parking ticket validated at the church information desk in the main lobby upon leaving the theater.

- Volunteer Opportunities: York's Volunteer Program encourages adults to serve on the York's audience services staff, or perform administrative tasks involving the artistic, development, and marketing departments.
