Four Seas Players
Four Seas Players was organized specifically to develop, produce and promote plays and theatrical entertainment of specific interest to Asian theater. Each year two full productions are selected for performance. The players encourage actors, directors and playwrights from within the Asian community by holding open castings calls. It is structured so that it offers everyone who is interested in theater an opportunity to participate. In addition to performing, the Four Seas Players also conducts workshops for playwrights and actors.
Performances are usually in Cantonese with English subtitles. Some take place at Henry Street Settlement on the Lower East Side.
Senior Discounts
Seniors (60 and older) are offered half-price tickets. Caretakers accompanying seniors also get the senior rate.
