Since the 1970s, the nation's premiere one-ring circus has thrilled and engaged New York audiences with its charming and sophisticated performances. Each year, internationally famous circus artists join forces with Big Apple's resident company to present an entirely new show. The circus performs in its own 1,619-seat, climate-controlled big-top tent in neighborhoods around town. Whether at Lincoln Center's Damrosch Park or Cunningham Park in Queens, no one in the audience sits more than 50 feet from the action.
The Big Apple Circus performs at Lincoln Center from October through January and at Cunningham Park, Queens, in the spring. Watch the newspapers, or call the circus for exact dates and locations.
The Big Apple Circus offers discounts for school groups to all weekday performances and for groups of 15 or more to all performances. Call the Group Sales Manager (see above) for information.
