Located on the 43-acre campus of Bronx Community College overlooking the Harlem River, the Music, Art and Dance Consortium seeks to be a place of ongoing cultural activity. It works to foster the development of local artists; increase awareness of music, art and the local, cross-cultural community; and provide access to free art exhibitions and music and dance programs to Bronx residents of all ages.

Concerts include vocal, instrumental, choral and dance performances ranging from classical to contemporary. Programs are held in the landmark Gould Memorial Library Auditorium, designed by Stanford White.

Located in Bliss Hall, the Hall of Fame Art Gallery features a range of artists and media, with emphasis on local Bronx artists and ethnic diversity.
