NYC Arts: The Complete Guide to Art and Culture

The American Theatre Wing (ATW) is a nonprofit dedicated to education and excellence in theater.  ATW focuses on programs and activities which help students, audiences and members of the theatrical community itself to learn more about what makes theater tick. 

ATW media programs focus on presenting individuals working in the theater industry, on stage or behind the scenes, in an unmediated format so that audiences and students hear directly from artists in their own words.  ATW also serves as an entry point for many coming to New York City and entering the theater field, from students that attend SpringboardNYC workshops and master classes to theater interns learning the business as part of the Theatre Intern Group.  The general public is welcome to attend ATW's programs and learn all about the shows, performers and behind-the-scenes activities that make up the craft from the free offerings on the ATW Web site.
