Madison Square Park

Located on 6.2 acres in the center of Manhattan’s Flatiron District, Madison Square Park boasts flourishing gardens, lush lawns, sculptures, fountains and cultural programs for all ages. Opened in 1853, the park underwent a revitalization which was completed in 2001. Dominating the southeast corner of the park is Shake Shack, a permanent stand that serves high-end grill-out fare al fresco. Notable buildings around the park include the triangular Flatiron Building, the Met Life Tower and the New York Life Building.
