Addressing the critical need for space dedicated to the development of contemporary dance, performance and related forms, Center for Performance Research (CPR) is the singular new development for the performing arts in Brooklyn’s first L.E.E.D.-certified green building of its kind.

The 4,000-square-foot arts facility provides affordable space for rehearsal and performance, innovative arts programming, and education and pedagogical engagement with the communities of New York City and abroad.

  • Directions: Subway: L train to Graham Avenue. Exit right out of turnstile and go left down Graham Avenue. Turn left on Jackson Street, then right on Manhattan Avenue.
  • Disability Access: Ground floor entrance at street level, wheelchair accessible.
  • Space Rental: Rehearsal and performance space rental for dance and theater. Gallery space rental for exhibitions. Event space rental for community events. Contact CPR for further details.

  • CPR Presents: Spring Movement

    Fri, June 1, 2012 – Sat, June 2, 2012 On the evenings of June 1 and 2, Spring Movement will present works by 10 local and international emerging and established choreographers. This year's Spring Movement will include works-in-progress, finished pieces, and premieres of creative and unique collaborations with filmmakers, musicians and artists from the visual arts field.
