The Latin American Cultural Center of Queens is a non-profit cultural organization that promotes Hispanic culture. Its goals are to meet the cultural needs of the Latino community, bring people of different ethnic backgrounds together for a greater understanding and harmony, and build cross-cultural connections with other ethnic groups and cultural organizations.
LACCQ provides programs such as visual arts workshops and special events such as Women’s History Month and Hispanic Heritage Month among others.

Sun, May 27, 2012 LOCATION: El Paraiso Tropical, 102-11 42nd Avenue, Corona, NY 11368 Latin American Cultural Center of Queens is hosting its annual Mother's Day Concert, as part of the Sunday to Remember Program, a recreational and supportive program for families. The event features an artistic presentation by guitarist Francisco Roldán and soprano Camille Ortiz-Lafont, interpreting zarzuela and music from the Americas.
