The Orchestra of St. Luke’s, one of America’s foremost chamber orchestras, has a diverse repertoire spanning the Baroque to the contemporary. Named for the Greenwich Village church that served as its first home, the music organization encompasses the Orchestra of St. Luke's, St. Luke's Arts Education, The DiMenna Center for Classical Music and St. Luke's Collection recordings.

In addition to its own Orchestra Series—presented by Carnegie Hall—and Chamber Music Series, St. Luke's is artist-in-residence at the Caramoor International Music Festival and performs regularly with the world's great artists at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. The Orchestra engages each year in a number of artistic collaborations that include dance, opera and special events with such artists and ensembles as Anna Netrebko, Yo-Yo Ma, Jessye Norman, Mark Morris Dance Group, Peter Gabriel, Sting, Elton John and many more.

Committed to the community, St. Luke’s Arts Education program has introduced over one million New York City school children to opera, dance and chamber music through free live performances and school partnerships. In 2010, St. Luke's proudly introduced Subway Series, a program offering free concerts in all five boroughs of New York City each summer.

In 2011, the orchestra opened The DiMenna Center for Classical Music, a state-of-the-art rehearsal, recording and education facility. The newly renovated building at 450 West 37th Street, co-owned and operated by the Baryshnikov Arts Center, is an anchor for classical music on the West side and is the creative and administrative home for St. Luke's.

St. Luke's stellar discography, numbering over 70 recordings, includes three acclaimed releases on its own label, St. Luke's Collection, and four Grammy Award-winning discs.

Pablo Heras-Casado is the new principal conductor of the Orchestra of St. Luke’s.
