The modern dance company of choreographer Lar Lubovitch celebrated its 40th Anniversary Season in 2008 with performances at New York City Center, the Joyce Theater, Dance Theater Workshop and a 21-city international tour.
The Lar Lubovitch Dance Company creates new work that expresses our common humanity. It performs both nationally and internationally and also educates people of all ages about dance. Other companies that perform the work of Lar Lubovitch include Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.
