The QCC Art Gallery of the City University of New York is within Queensborough Community College's oldest permanent structure, the historic Oakland Building. It holds changing exhibitions of contemporary art as well as a permanent collection of African art, curated by Leonard Kahan. The collection ranges from masks to sculpture to rings and costumes.

    Ongoing This permanent collection ranges from the tall Dogon Sirigue mask with its "multi-storied" top, the massive Ibo Mbidiki mask with a motorcyclist on its top, and Kongo figure of a colonial administrator to Cameroon sculpture and a precious collection of brass and silver rings from many areas of Africa.
