Founded in 2006 by Jim Clark, this gallery is committed to promoting Inuit and Arctic art. It represents established and emerging artists from across the Alaskan and Canadian Arctic who produce sculptures and prints. In 2008, Look North began representing the polar photography of artist Rena Bass Forman.

Look North Gallery also utilizes its collection to create awareness of climate change issues in the Arctic. It has worked with the American Museum of Natural History, Al Gore's 'The Climate Project,' Arctic Bear Productions and the Explorers Club.
