Queens Council on the Arts

The Queens Council on the Arts (QCA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1966. The mission of the Queens Council on the Arts is to foster and develop the arts in Queens County and to support individual artists and arts organizations in presenting their cultural diversity for the benefit of the community. QCA is now part of the Kaufman Arts District in Astoria, Queens.

Queens County Farm Museum

Amid the houses and apartment buildings of Floral Park, Queens, sits the Queens County Farm Museum, a 17th-century farm with ducks, geese, sheep and apple and pear orchards and a museum. The only working historic farm in New York City, this 47-acre spread has been the site of continuous cultivation for over 200 years and is also a museum chronicling the agricultural history of New York City.
