Over the years he has become known for his highly thoughtful interpretations of music and for the generosity of his playing.

This Week at Lincoln Center: Rafael Frühbeck de Burgos

This Week at Lincoln Center, Rafael Frühbeck de Burgos returns to the New York Philharmonic. In this program, the conductor will explore both sides of his heritage, first in selections from "Atlántida" by Spanish composer Manuel de Falla, marking the first time the New York Philharmonic has ever performed this music, followed by German composer Carl Orff’s "Carmina Burana."
