Programs take place in the Chimes Playhouse, a charming auditorium, which was added in 1939. Richmondtown Branch-New York Public Library

Mon & Wed: 10 am-8 pm Tues & Thurs: 10 am-6 pm Fri & Sat: 10 am-5 pmThis two-floor branch opened in July 1996. Fully accessible to persons using wheelchairs, the branch contains collections for children, young adults and adults. A large Community Room with a piano is used for library programs, special events, and community activities. Savoy Ballroom

The Savoy was opened on March 12, 1926 by Moe Gale (Moses Galewski), Charles Galewski, and a Harlem real estate businessman called Charles Buchanan, who functioned as the ballroom's manager.
