A significant new concert venue, the Baisley Powell Elebash Recital Hall forms part of the Graduate Center of the City University of New York’s cultural and conference complex.
FIAF's premier venue is a 400-seat theater with state-of-the-art equipment for performing arts presentations, corporate town halls and film screenings.
Mon: 11 am-7 pm Tues - Thurs: 11 am-6 pm Fri: 1 pm-5 pm Sat: 10 am-5 pm The Francis Martin Branch of the New York Public Library was named after a distinguished Bronx judge (1879-1947) who served as the first District Attorney of Bronx County. The first floor houses separate adult and young adult collections as well as an extensive reference collection. The children's collection is on the spacious and sunny second floor. The German Consulate General's offices belongs to Germany's mission to the United Nations. Throughout the year, it hosts events related to German arts and culture which are open to public. Presenting ID is necessary for access to the building.
A group of chamber-music performers, Goliard Concerts performs in its native Queens and around New York City. It performs outdoors in the summer, at the Church of the Most Precious Blood and Steinway Reformed Church in Astoria and tours the Southeastern states.
