80WSE is an extension of the Department of Art and Art Professions in the NYU Steinhardt School. Under the curatorial direction of Nicola Lees, 80WSE gallery presents contemporary and historical exhibitions, as well as experimental projects by noted artists and curators, produced in collaboration with faculty and students from the Department of Art and Art Professions. Each spring, 80WSE hosts the department’s MFA Thesis exhibitions.
OK Harris exhibits contemporary art and photography, and on occasion mounts shows of antiques and collectibles. In it‚ large space, it is able to mount five, one-person shows at a time and has seven such exhibitions in the course of a year. The gallery maintains a complete photographic archive on its exhibitions from the time of its inception, available to students and scholars for research, without reservation.
P339 is an art space founded in Janurary 2012 by branding and design firm Crosspoint New York. P339 is host to a variety of art forms and artists from all backgrounds and nationalities.
