Spoke the Hub at Gowanus Arts Building

Spoke the Hub's 2,400-square-foot space in the Gowanus Arts Building is available for rent for classes, rehearsals, performances, meetings and parties and other events. It lies just south of the Brooklyn Academy of Music and is accessible by most trains. Visit www.spokethehub.org for more details. Teatro Circulo

This small theater space is a 74-seat house with flexible audience arrangement.

Terminus Recording Studios

These penthouse music recording studios, overlooking Times Square and the Broadway Theater District, are steeped in the musical tradition of New York City. They combine the finest analog and digital equipment. The studios have hosted an array of major and independent artists over several decades.

The Greenpoint Gallery

The Greenpoint Gallery is a non-profit gallery that exists to facilitate creativity in all disciplines by providing the perfect solution for New York City artists seeking an affordable and flexible performance, exhibition, and music rehearsal space in which to fulfill their visions. Along with two floors of spacious galleries and rehearsal space, several studios spaces are available for rotating artists in residence.

The Irondale Center

The Irondale Center for Theater, Education, and Outreach in development resides in the Lafayette Avenue Presbyterian Church's former Sunday school room. The grand room spans 5,400 square feet, has 28-foot ceilings, a 1,900-square-foot mezzanine/gallery, gothic-style wall paintings and stained glass windows. The Center includes a flexible, 200-seat performance space and offices for Irondale. The center opened in 2008 and is available to outside arts groups.See more information about the space.

The New School for Drama Theatre

Located in the heart of the West Village, The New School for Drama's facilities are part of the Westbeth Artists Community complex in the historic Bell Laboratories building. Housed within are all of the Drama School's administrative offices, seven rehearsal/classroom studios of varying sizes, costume and properties shops and storage, and a 120-seat Proscenium-style theater.

The New School, Auditorium at 66 West 12th Street

Designed and built in the 1930s by legendary architect Joseph Urban, the Auditorium is an impressive 468-seat venue with a proscenium style stage. It was named one of the world's most powerful rooms by ABC news in 2014, thanks to the incredible roster of public figures and leaders who have spoken there.

Theaterlab

A laboratory for the creative community. After seven years downtown, Theaterlab has built a new larger venue in Midtown to continue its work of producing and presenting challenging works of art.
