Bounded by Lafayette, Mulberry, Houston and Jersey Streets, the Puck Building was built from 1885 to 1893 in a Romanesque Revival style designed by architect Albert Wagner. The Puck Building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a New York City landmark.

The 2,400-seat Walt Whitman Theatre on the campus of Brooklyn College has four seating sections: front orchestra (612 seats), rear orchestra (364 seats), mezzanine (564 seats) and balcony (844 seats). Balcony is accessed by stairs only ---no elevator service is available.
