BAX/Brooklyn Arts Exchange is a nurturing, year-round, performance, rehearsal and educational venue in Brooklyn that encourages artistic risk-taking and stimulates dialogue among diverse constituencies.

Big Screen Plaza

The Big Screen Plaza is an open-air, public venue for video, film, live and interactive content. It occupies a a public plaza behind a 54-story multi-use building on Avenue of the Americas, a short walk south of Herald Square. Media is projected onto a large, 30 foot by 16.5 foot HD format LED screen.

Bleecker Street Theatre

This small theater is on the edge of the East Village and often hosts one-person shows and comedic productions.

Blue Hill Troupe

Since 1924, the Blue Hill Troupe has produced a large-scale Gilbert & Sullivan operetta every spring, with lavish production values and full orchestra. Each year, the net proceeds benefit a different New York City charity.

Bond Street Theatre

Bond Street Theatre creates non-verbal, physical, visual and musical performances that cross cultural borders. It initiates theater-based projects for education, healing and empowerment in conflict zones and other critical areas worldwide. Current focus areas are Afghanistan, India and Myanmar. Projects feature creative collaboration with local artists, teacher training and workshops for children, women and disadvantaged communities.

BRICstudio

BRICstudio provides subsidized rehearsal, performance and event rentals for artists and nonprofit organizations. Centrally located in Brooklyn's Fort Greene Cultural District, the 4,000-square-foot, black box studio theater accommodates up to 74 people in a comfortable, cabaret setting and is equipped with audio, lighting and video projection systems to support multi-disciplinary performance. It provides a full professional staff for each performance rental, including sound and lighting technicians, house manager and more.

Broadway Theatre Studio

Broadway Theatre Studio (broadwaytheatrestudio.com) was founded in 2009 as a development workshop and incubator for new American plays and musicals. Hundreds of actors have attended BTS workshops since its inception, and the company has collaborated with some of the best writing talent in New York. In 2014, BTS produced two original full-length works in The New York International Fringe Festival, including the critically-acclaimed hit comedy with drinks and music, "The Imbible."

Bronx Opera Company

This small classical company performs at Lehman College's Lovinger Theatre and elsewhere in New York City and Long Island, in English, with full orchestra and chorus.
