Free admission (all visitors, all hours)

The Brooklyn Museum will host the twelfth annual Brooklyn Children’s Book Fair, taking place Saturday, November 17, in the Museum’s Martha A. and Robert S. Rubin Pavilion. This year’s fair features forty Brooklyn-based authors and illustrators offering a selection of storybooks, picture books, and graphic novels for children of all ages. Families can meet and mingle with their favorite authors and illustrators, while browsing new releases and participating in editorial and art-making activities. The program is free, and Museum admission is a suggested donation. This year, activities at the Children’s Book Fair include author readings, illustrator presentations, a musical performance, and an ongoing drawing activity using illustrator designs. New this year is a floor drawing activity, designed specifically to engage with preschoolers. For a full schedule book fair events, visit the Brooklyn Museum web page.
