Running from November 26 through December 2, BAM will present the 13th edition of  the Romanian Film Festival. This year’s program celebrates a new wave of films by women directors, including a Golden Bear-winning exploration of intimacy and desire; a groundbreaking gay love story; and documentaries that confront Romania’s turbulent 20th century. In addition, the festival highlights the darkly satirical work of internationally acclaimed auteur Radu Jude, whose career-long concerns with Jewish identity and the darkest chapters of Romanian history crescendo in “I Do Not Care If We Go Down in History as Barbarians.” Tickets to individual screenings are available through the BAM website.
