The New York Pops, led by Music Director and Conductor Steven Reineke, is presenting “Movie Mixtape: Songs from the Silver Screen,” on Friday, March 15 at 8:00 p.m. in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall, joined by Mykal Kilgore (Songs for A New World at New York City Center), Storm Large (guest vocalist with Pink Martini), Ashley Park (Broadway’s Mean Girls and The King and I) and Ryan Silverman (Broadway’s Side Show and The Phantom of the Opera). The orchestra will perform iconic songs from beloved movies include “Over the Rainbow” from The Wizard of Oz, “Moon River” from Breakfast at Tiffany’s, “The Way We Were” from The Way We Were, and “Footloose” from Footloose.
