For this “Pure Dance”  program of classic and contemporary works, award-winning ballerina Natalia Osipova reunites with ballet star David Hallberg in the US premiere of “Valse Triste”by choreographer Alexei Ratmansky, co-commissioned by New York City Center and Sadler’s Wells. The partners will also dance one of Antony Tudor’s last works, “The Leaves Are Fading.” Contemporary dancer Jonathan Goddard will join Osipova in the US premiere of “Flutter”by Ivan Péréz (commissioned by Sadler’s Wells) and set to a score by Nico Muhly, and Jason Kittelberger joins her in Israeli choreographer Roy Assaf’s “Six Years Later,” an ominous chance encounter set to Beethoven’s “Moonlight Sonata.”
