Paul Taylor American Modern Dance (PTAMD) is proud to present the Lincoln Center Premieres of works by Guest Resident Choreographers Margie Gillis and Pam Tanowitz. See Gillis’s “Rewilding” on November 1, 7 and 13, and Tanowitz’s “all at once” on November 6, 15 and 17. Other season highlights include 19 Taylor masterworks and a world premiere by Kyle Abraham. Choreographer Pam Tanowitz’s “all at once” was commissioned by Mr. Taylor and set to Bach, this “teasing, good-natured piece suggests a Taylor dance gone awry, like a skipping record,” writes Siobhan Burke of The New York Times.

“It will be necessary to reintegrate with our wildness, respecting our natural world, if we are to remain on this planet,” Margie Gillis writes in the program note for “Rewilding,” her new dance commissioned by Mr. Taylor about communing with nature.

“Every time I’ve danced the work I’ve had a different experience,” Company member Kristin Draucker says. “I’m excited to dance it again because I know something new will happen.”
