After eleven years as the founder of the Latin Grammy winning, all-female mariachi band Flor de Toloache, Mireya Ramos is recording her debut solo album, to be produced by Camilo Lara of Mexican Institute of Sound. Ramos’s performance, as part of the 2019 Uncharted Festival at Greenwich House Music School, will be her first public performance of a selection of new originals and covers intended for the upcoming album, along with classic Flor de Toloache songs from her considerable repertoire.
