For over a century Greenwich House Arts have offered the highest level of instruction in the arts to a diverse community of all ages and skill levels, from young children to professional artists.

In addition to classes, workshops, lectures and other educational opportunities, Greenwich House Arts, which is made up of Greenwich House Pottery and Greenwich House Music, maintain ongoing exhibitions and performance series that highlight the talents of contemporary artists today and has created a century-long legacy of arts achievement in New York.


A leading center for the study, creation and exhibition of ceramics, the Greenwich House offers quality instruction to daubers of all ages, as well as scholarly and technical lectures. The Jane Hartsook Gallery presents six exhibitions a year featuring both functional and sculptural ceramic works by artists from across the country. Running concurrently in the Office Gallery are shows featuring the work of students. Classes are taught by professional potters and held in studios well equipped for all aspects of the ceramic-making process. There's a fine series of historical seminars as well.
