A place of learning and wonder, the Jewish Children's Museum is a unique institution where children and their parents, from all segments of the community, can explore Jewish history and heritage in a stimulating and interactive environment. The museum offers special family programs throughout the year.
The museum offers guided class visits led by trained docents, as well as pre- and post-visit materials designed to integrate visits into classroom learning. All programs conform to New York State and City learning standards and are adapted to the specific needs of each grade level.
Various tours are available for school groups, including Early Childhood Tours (preK-K), Jewish History Voyage (grades 1-8) and Exploring Jewish Life (grades 1-8). Additional programs such as Game Show Studio, Jewish Lifecycle Miniature Golf and Small Wonder Puppet Theater can be incorporated into tours upon request. Customized tours are also available.
