Families

Merkin Concert Hall presents two critically-acclaimed Sunday matinee series for families. Broadway Playhouse introduces a new generation to classic Broadway musicals, celebrating Broadway’s greatest composers and lyricists with sing-alongs, fun facts, games, medleys and mini-musicals. Musical Adventures with the Poppy Seed Players are musical plays for children about the Jewish heritage and life in New York City, including annual Hanukkah and Purim musical revues. Intended for children age 4–10 and adults, each show is kid-friendly, interactive, educational—and lots of fun.
