Since it's founding in 1994, Stages of Learning has had a positive impact on more than 40,000 children and their teachers in the New York City metropolitan area. Through partnerships with schools, Stages of Learning builds on the schools' regular curriculum through literacy and theater in grades 3-6. Using physical and vocal expression, Stages of Learning engages all children, including many who struggle with traditional teaching methods. The Chekhov Theatre Ensemble offers a unique opportunity for training and professional development of teaching artists.
