Founded in 1998, the Russian American Culture Center (RACC) focuses on the Russian-American and Russian-speaking community, but welcomes everyone interested in Russian art, history, and culture to its programs which are held at venues throughout New York City. All of its events are bi-lingual (in English and Russian) and are open to the public, serving audience members of all ages and backgrounds.
The center holds a children's festival each year, usually in Brooklyn.
The center provides Russian language classes that are specifically designed for parents and children.
The center’s educational programs include introductory courses on Russian culture, history, language and art.
They also offer bilingual art, music, chess and drama classes.
