The Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Film Center is a state-of-the-art screening center for New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. Through a generous endowment by the Cantor Foundation, the facility was transformed from a  vintage movie theater into a vibrant part of the NYU Campus on Eighth Street in NYC. At Mrs. Cantor’s request, the restaurant in the complex was named Faye’s Café in honor of her late mother, who loved coffee shops and chatting with students.
