The New York Design Center and 1stdibs.com have joined forces to create 1stdibs at NYDC. This revolutionary gallery space provides 1stdibs with its first physical presence in the marketplace, and changes the dynamic of this once design-trade-only building into a progressive, all-inclusive design resource. An eclectic mix of over 54 1stdibs® dealers from all over the country, as well as several international dealers, occupy the entire tenth floor of the NYDC with 33,000 square feet.
The venue is a gallery and performance space suitable for performance art, film, concerts, poetry readings, literary salons, and public art-in-process. Its mission is to support emerging artistic talent and offer audiences meticulously-tailored menus of exceptional cultural events.
This experimental performance group works in new media to produce innovative and hybrid ways of dealing with narrative. In addition to performing, 3-Legged Dog has also, in the past, hosted a performance space that is available for like-minded performance groups.
Established in 2009 in the heart of Bushwick, 319 Scholes is a 3,000 sq. ft gallery space used for exhibitions, workshops, and live performances.
The studios are in a high-rise building in the Garment District.
This staffed booth within the underground passageway of New York Penn Station is open daily.
3-Legged Dog exists to produce new, original works in theater, performance, media and hybrid forms. Working out of a strong literary tradition, our mission is to explore the new narrative possibilities created by digital technology, and to provide an environment for our artists to create new tools and modes of expression so that they can excel across a range of disciplines.
