Wright

Wright is the premier auction house specializing in modern and contemporary art and design. Headquartered in Chicago with a location in New York at 980 Madison Avenue, Wright hosts over 12 auctions and exhibitions each year. Wright's New York gallery is on the third floor of the historic Parke-Bernet building at 980 Madison Avenue and is open Tuesday - Saturday, 11 am - 5 pm.

Write Act Repertory Theatre

The Write Act Repertory Company features member actors, writers, designers, and directors devoted to developing original plays, adaptations and musicals. Write Act Rep also seeks new ways to re-stage lesser-known works by renowned artists.

Wyckoff Farmhouse Museum

This wood-shingled Dutch Colonial farmhouse, built about 1652, is the oldest home in New York City. It stands on land that is believed to have been purchased in 1636 from the Canarsie Indians by Van Twiller, the first director general of New Netherland. With Dutch ceramic tiles and a period garden, visitors can tour the household of the Dutch settlers in the New World.

Y Gallery

Founded in 2006, Y Gallery has locations on Orchard Street and the Bowery that create a dialogue amongst different communities through exhibitions, lectures and other activities.

Yangtze Repertory Theatre of America

Founded in 1992, this theater company produces plays written by Asian authors and starring Asian actors. The company performs in New York venues such as the Theater for a New City and the Joyce and Seward Johnson Theater.

Yello Kat Productions

Yello Kat Productions is a multi-service digital media production company that is dedicated to creating content-rich films that address issues pertinent to women of color worldwide. Yellow Kat specializes in the documentary and narrative genres, but its scope is ever-expanding.

Yeshiva University Museum

Reestablished at the Center for Jewish History in Chelsea in 2000‚ also the home of the YIVO Institute, the American Jewish Historical Society, the Leo Baeck Institute and the American Sephardi Federation‚ the museum mounts exhibitions that explore virtually all aspects of Jewish life and tradition.
