On September 30 and October 1, Jazz at Lincoln Center will host performances by visionary pianist Brad Mehldau, who will make a highly-anticipated return to Rose Theater, and by “virtuoso of the quarter-tone trumpet” Ibrahim Maalouf, who will make his Appel Room debut to perform “Kalthoum,” an homage to Egyptian icon Oum Kalthoum.
