Guided by Angelos Chaniotis, Professor of Ancient History and Classics, NYC-ARTS visits the exhibition “A World of Emotions: Ancient Greece, 700 BC-200 AD.” It is on view at the Onassis Cultural Center New York through June 24, 2017.
A visit to Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian New York to see the exhibition “Native Fashion Now,” which is on view through September 4, 2017. Originating at the Peabody Essex Museum, in Salem, Massachusetts, this is the first large-scale traveling exhibition of contemporary Native American fashion.
The School of American Ballet’s 2017 Workshop Performances will take place at Lincoln Center’s Peter Jay Sharp Theater on June 3rd and June 5th. The program will feature Christopher Wheeldon’s “Scènes de Ballet” and two ballets never before performed by SAB’s students: George Balanchine’s “Scotch Symphony” and Peter Martins’s “Hallelujah Junction.”
