From January 30 to March 4, Lincoln Center will present the 20th season of American Songbook, which celebrates the ever-expanding American musical canon. This year’s 15-concert series will take place in multiple locations: The Appel Room, Alice Tully Hall, and the David Rubenstein Atrium.

Guggenheim Museum; “Interior Lives: Contemporary Photographs of Chinese New Yorkers” at Museum of the City of New York; “Interior Lives: Photographs of Chinese Americans in the 1980s by Bud Glick” at the Museum of Chinese in America; Manhattan Theatre Club’s “Choir Boy” at Samuel J. A profile of photographer Joel Meyerowitz, who has focused on a variety of themes throughout his career, but is perhaps best known as a street photographer, in the tradition of such masters as Henri Cartier-Bresson and Robert Frank. He has also been instrumental in advancing the recognition of color photography as an art form.
