Pianist Jeremy Denk has appeared as a soloist with major orchestras from the U.S. and abroad and has steadily built a reputation as one of today’s most compelling artists. In recent years he has focused on the music of Charles Ives and Gygory Ligeti. Here is one of two Ligeti etudes that Denk played for NYC-ARTS in a private recital. In September 2013, he was named a 2013 MacArthur Fellow.
